Put the flour and a little bit of salt and sugar in a big bowl.
Dissolve the yeast in slightly warm water and add it to the mixture.
Knead and let the dough rise.
Then add the small meat pieces, the fennel and the cheese.
Apply oil and glina in a baking tray, sprinkle with sesame seeds and pour the dough into the baking tray.
Sprinkle with slightly warm water, sprinkle once again with sesame seeds and pour the raisins into the mixture.
Add the vine twigs on top forming a cross (they symbolize a “good year”).
Bake in preheated oven at 180 degrees for an hour.

50 - 60 gr (2-3 cubes) fresh yeast
400 gr sausages, louzes, sissera, lardakia in small pieces
250 gr soft fresh cheese
oil and glina (pork fat)
1 teaspoon sugar
sesame seeds for sprinkling
raisins and 2 vine twigs for decorating
